This is an NFA Online mediated course taught by an instructor with multiple students. Lessons, activities and communication are taught asynchronously through NFA Online, allowing students to complete course work on their own time. Assignment completions have assigned timeframes and all course participants are expected to connect with each other and the instructor two or more times per week.

M0774 is a six-week instructor-led online course that will enable fire investigators to prepare, review and critique fire investigation reports. Students will develop and revise three reports in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 921 and 1033 that will undergo a technical and legal review and be presented to an expert in the field of fire investigation. This course requires an estimated four to eight hours of self-directed work per week.

Full-time public service personnel tasked with fire investigative duties.
