This is an NFA Online mediated Executive Fire Officer Program course taught by an instructor with multiple students. Lessons, activities and communication are taught asynchronously through NFA Online, allowing students to complete course work on their own time. Assignment completions have assigned timeframes and all course participants are expected to connect with each other and the instructor two or more times per week.

This online mediated course prepares the Executive Fire Officer student for the last residential course, Integrating Executive Leadership for Self, Organization and Community (R5204), through a case study review of the integration of fire and emergency medical services agencies into community-wide events (emergent and nonemergent). 

The course teaches analysis, at a strategic executive level, of the integration of stakeholders, influencers, actors and other facets associated with serving a whole community’s public safety and risk management needs.
