This course is the fourth and final Executive Fire Officer (EFO) Program residential experience. It focuses on the active engagement of the EFO as a catalyst for change and the exercise of executive leadership for self, organization and community.

This experience contains two specific capstone events.

  1. An oral defense of the student's graduate-level thesis.
  2. A leadership staff ride that incorporates concepts from the Battle of Gettysburg with the EFO's exercise of leadership.

Selection criteria

Acceptance into the Executive Fire Officer Program is required.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of EFOP mediated courses M5104 - Applications in the Exercise of Leadership and M5105 - Executive Fire Officer Thesis.
