The course will examine the theories and practical application of pre-disaster management and planning based upon the integration of critical infrastructure analysis and continuity of operation planning to ensure organizations are prepared to respond to the rare, extraordinary incidents that may occur at the local level.



Participants should be members of a fire department, emergency medical service, emergency management, law enforcement agency, school district, government (State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT)), religious, and non-government organizations with disaster or community support roles.

ICS-100-level and ICS-200-level training. Preferred courses are Q462 and Q463 available through NFA Online. Chief's signature attests that the applicant has completed required training.
