This online, instructor-led (live) course is presented live via ZOOM for 2 consecutive weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Eastern). Students must have the technical capability to use ZOOM.
The objective of this 2-day course is to provide fire service authority figures with knowledge and skills that enable them to exercise leadership when confronting adaptive challenges presented by increasingly diverse internal and external communities. The goal of the course is for participants to use the diversity of ideas, peoples and cultures as resources in exercising leadership to address adaptive challenges in their communities.

The target audience is fire and emergency services personnel in positions of authority who have an opportunity to exercise leadership. An eligible student must be minimally assigned to a supervisory-level position (for example, a Company Officer).

Incident Command System (ICS)-100-level and ICS-200-level training. Preferred courses are Q0462 and Q0463, available through NFA Online. Chief's signature attests that the applicant has completed this required training.
