Strategic Risk Management Analysis: Organization M5102

This is an academically rigorous mediated EFO Program course taught by an instructor with multiple students. The course is taught synchronously, requiring students to attend scheduled classes. This online mediated course focuses on developing insights for building a strategic focus based on risk management practices, including the gathering and analysis of data for use in organizational vulnerability and risk assessment.

The processes presented and the data collected serve to support the Executive Fire Officer (EFO) student in preparing for strategic executive-level decisions and modeling. This course also provides prerequisite cognitive and affective insights needed for the second EFO Program residential course, Exercise of Executive Leadership: Organization (R5202).

Selection criteria

Acceptance into the EFO Program is required.


Must be currently accepted into the EFOP and have successfully completed EFOP courses M5101 - Executive Leadership Introduction to EFO and Research Design and R5201 - Exercise of Executive Leadership: Self.

Post-course requirements

Successful completion of EFOP course R5202 - Exercise of Executive Leadership: Organization.
