This 6-day course is designed to provide training officers with the essential tools and skills to lead and manage the training function in fire/emergency medical services (EMS) organizations. It is not designed to enhance presentation skills.
The target audience is people who have management and supervisory responsibility for the organization's training function, which typically includes:
- Responsibilities for obtaining and managing personnel.
- Fiscal and facility management.
- Program planning.
- Development and maintenance of training schedules.
- Training records management.
- Instructor management.
- Performance evaluation.
- Program delivery.
