This 3-day course is designed for those emergency response personnel who would function in a Command or General Staff position during a large, complex incident or event, or personnel who are or would likely be part of a local or regional Incident Management Team during a major incident, whether single agency, multiagency or Unified Command.

  • Must successfully complete prerequisite courses ICS-100 and ICS-200 or equivalent prior to being accepted for this course.
  • Have a working knowledge of the ICS.
  • Have an agency or individual need to meet National Incident Management System-required training.
  • Have responsibility within your organization to function in a Command and/or General Staff position.

Recommended: Incident Command System (ICS)-100-level and ICS-200-level training. Preferred courses are Q0462 and Q0463, available through NFA Online.
