This 2-day course provides an introduction to the knowledge, skills and abilities required to navigate current emergency medical services (EMS) management issues and the challenges in moving from EMS provider to EMS supervisor.

Front-line supervisors who are responsible for field or station supervision of EMS response personnel. These supervisors are responsible for ensuring the daily operational schedules, assignments, personnel and resources.

Personnel eligible for, acting in, or on a promotion list for this rank/capacity will be considered with a letter from the agency head (chief) stating such.

Incident Command System (ICS)-100-level and ICS-200-level training.  Chief’s signature attests that the applicant has completed this required training.
