Fire Chief

After completing administrative duties, the morning of July 14, 2017, Interim Fire Chief Spinner left the fire station for a morning run at a local business park. At approximately 1122hrs, a bystander saw Chief Spinner fall. The bystander talked to Chief Spinner to see if he needed help. He refused but soon lost consciousness. The bystander called 911 for assistance and then started CPR.

Firefighters and emergency medical workers provided Chief Spinner with care and transported him to the hospital. Their efforts were unsuccessful and Chief Spinner was pronounced dead at the hospital emergency room.
