This course is the second Executive Fire Officer Program residential experience. It uses an organizational perspective to explore the exercise of executive leadership for success.

A facilitated dialogue approach is used to teach programmatic concepts that can help an organization to develop, grow and sustain success. Adaptive challenges in the delivery of a multitude of community-based services are explored, including emergent, nonemergent, proactive and risk reduction-oriented issues.

Selection criteria

Acceptance into the Executive Fire Officer Program is required.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of EFOP mediated course M5102 - Strategic Risk Management Analyzing: Organization.

Post-course requirements

Successful completion of EFOP mediated course M5103 - Strategic Risk Management Analyzing: Community.
