Fundamental-level course
The overall goal of this fundamental-level, online self-study course is to provide students with the ability to describe fire behavior and apply that knowledge to fire safety and firefighting techniques. The intended outcome is to improve firefighter safety and reduce loss of life by equipping fire service personnel with an understanding of fire behavior.
This course is recommended as a foundation-level course for fire service personnel.
