In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour in emergency management.

Course only available to on-campus weekend program students.
This 2-day program provides students with the ability to create and implement a comprehensive campus fire and life safety public education program. There will be a focus on looking at the on-campus and off-campus fire risks and educating students, personnel and stakeholders about these risks.

  • Public education specialists with an interest in campus life safety.
  • Campus staff with responsibility for student safety and security.

Incident Command System (ICS)-100-level and ICS-200-level training. Preferred courses are Q0462 and Q0463, available through NFA Online. Chief's signature attests that the applicant has completed this required training.
